Terms and Conditions

This document regulates the use and hiring of services offered on the CityToursCusco digital platform, owned by the company Machupicchu Terra S.R.L., registered with the Ministry of Culture of Peru under code MA0473.

By booking and contracting a group or private tour through this website, the Customer expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions, which constitute a legal and binding contract between both parties.





General Information

CityToursCusco is a virtual platform specialized in the sale and management of group and private tours in the city of Cusco, including visits to museums, temples, archaeological sites, viewpoints, and other urban tourist attractions.

The company Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. is the only entity authorized to modify, extend, or restrict these terms and conditions, as well as the services offered on this website.

Contracting Parties

  • CITYTOURSCUSCO: Virtual platform specialized in tours and routes through the city of Cusco, operated by Machupicchu Terra S.R.L.
  • CLIENT: Natural or legal person who acquires the services offered by CityToursCusco.

Purchasing and Booking Process

  • The Client can make a reservation online from anywhere in the world.
  • To confirm the purchase, it is essential to have a valid email address where the reservation confirmation, payment receipt, and other service details will be sent.
  • The reservation form must be completed with truthful data that matches an official identification document (passport, ID, foreigner card, etc.).
  • Once the full payment (100%) is received, CityToursCusco will send the digital confirmation of the booked tour.
  • The Client must appear on time at the agreed pickup location. Failure to attend will be considered a No Show, with no right to a refund.

Service Conditions

  • CityToursCusco exclusively offers guided group and private tours within the city of Cusco.
  • The services include: tourist transportation, authorized professional guide, entrance fees to the designated places (depending on the type of tour), and personalized assistance.
  • The company commits to providing the service with safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

  • The schedules, meeting points, duration, and specific conditions of each tour will be confirmed to the Client in advance.

Personal Data Protection Policy

In compliance with Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law, the data provided by the Client will be treated confidentially by Machupicchu Terra S.R.L., located at Recoleta 208 – Cusco.

The use of personal data will be strictly necessary for the execution of the contracted services, and it may only be shared with third parties when indispensable to ensure the service provision.

The client has the right to request at any time the rectification, cancellation, or opposition of their personal data by communicating through the official channels mentioned.

Changes and Modifications

  • Possible changes include: tour date, participant names, type of service (group or private), and meeting point.
  • Any change must be requested at least 72 hours (3 business days) in advance of the service date.
  • No penalty will be applied for changes made within the established timeframe.
  • Requests should be sent clearly and in detail to the email info@machupicchuterra.com during business hours (09:00 to 18:00).

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be sent to the email info@carmachupicchu.com at least 3 days in advance of the transfer date.
  • The refund will be made with a penalty of 25% of the service value (the Client will receive the remaining 75%).
  • No last-minute cancellations or No Show cases will be accepted.
  • The refund will be processed within a maximum of 48 hours before the service date, through the same payment method used.
  • The accreditation time will depend on the payment gateway used (Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, etc.), and it may take up to 30 calendar days depending on the bank entity.

Payment Conditions

  • The prices of the tours are published on the website and updated at the time of booking.
  • The payment must be made 100% through the secure gateways available: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and PayPal.
  • Once the payment is confirmed, the Client will receive a digital receipt and tour details via email.
  • All prices include taxes and banking fees, unless expressly stated otherwise in the service description.

Final Considerations

  • The Client is responsible for verifying that the details provided in the service confirmation (date, time, names, ID document, pickup location, etc.) are correct.
  • CityToursCusco and Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. are not responsible for delays or changes caused by external factors such as blockages, strikes, natural phenomena, government regulations, or other force majeure events.
  • The booking of any service through CityToursCusco implies the full and express acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
