Schedule
The adventure begins with the pickup of the tour participants from the door of their hotel or from a previously agreed central point. From there, we head to the Southern Valley to reach a small camp by the Chuquicahuana River.
Rafting Tour in Cusco
- Upon arrival at the camp by the Chuquicahuana River, the group will get ready with the provided equipment.
- Next, the group will head to the upper part of the river for a prior training session.
- The descent will be along the river’s tributaries, returning to the camp.
- After lunch and some rest, we return to the city.
Itinerary
Pick-up
The tour starts with the pick-up of passengers from their hotel or a central point in the city. Afterwards, the tourist transport will head towards the Southern Valley, enjoying the Andean landscapes during the journey.
Base Camp
After two hours of travel, we will arrive at the base camp facilities, which are equipped with showers, sauna, changing rooms, dining area, and green spaces. Here, you will receive the complete safety equipment (wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, and paddle) and get ready.
Chuquicahuana River
After a short transfer, we will reach the upper part of the Chuquicahuana River, where the guide will give us a safety briefing. After that, we will navigate through the river’s tributaries, which have levels I, II, and III. It’s an adrenaline-packed experience where you can also admire the stunning landscapes of the Southern Valley.
Return to camp and lunch
After finishing the rafting experience, you will return to the camp where you can enjoy lunch (vegan option available) to regain your energy.
Rest
Finally, you will have free time to relax and unwind in rest areas surrounded by mountainous views, agricultural fields, and rivers.

On the way back to the city, you can continue admiring the landscapes of the Southern Valley at sunset. Upon arriving in the city, the transport will drop you off at the door of your hotel or a central point in the city, thus ending the rafting tour in Cusco.

The tour takes place on rapids of levels I, II, and III, which are perfect for a first-time rafting experience.
