This Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection is issued in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law, its regulations approved by Supreme Decree No. 003-2013-JUS, and other complementary regulations in force in Peru.

By using the tourist services offered through the CityToursCusco website, the user gives their free, prior, express, and informed consent for the processing of their personal data under the terms set forth in this document.

CityToursCusco is managed by Machupicchu Terra S.R.L., a company with RUC No. 20564091490, located at Calle Recoleta 208, Cusco – Peru, responsible for processing and safeguarding the personal data of its customers.

For the proper execution of the tourist services (group or private tours), we may request the following personal information:

  • Identification data: first name, last name, ID number, passport, or foreigner card.
  • Contact data: email address, phone number, and residential address.
  • Reservation data: information required to manage itineraries, schedules, type of service, number of participants, among others.
  • Billing and payment data: banking or credit/debit card information, processed securely through certified payment gateways.
  • Additional data: any voluntary information provided by the customer that helps personalize the service (preferences, special requirements, dietary restrictions, etc.).

3. Purposes of Data Processing

Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. will use the collected personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Contract execution: process reservations, coordinate tourist services, confirm payments, and ensure the proper delivery of the tour.
  • Customer service: respond to queries, complaints, or requests, and provide assistance before, during, and after the service.
  • Administrative and accounting management: issue receipts, comply with tax obligations, and maintain operational records.
  • Continuous improvement: analyze usage and satisfaction statistics to optimize our services.
  • Informational and promotional communications (optional): send news, discounts, or updates related to our tourist services, always with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

4. Data Retention

Personal data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing and the applicable legal obligations.

Once that period has passed, the information will be deleted or anonymized, unless required for the fulfillment of tax, legal, or judicial obligations.

Machupicchu Terra S.R.L. may share personal data with duly authorized tourist providers (official guides, transporters, local operators, or similar), only when necessary for the proper execution of the contracted service.

Under no circumstances will personal data be sold, rented, or transferred for purposes unrelated to the provision of the service. Any third party accessing the data must comply with the same confidentiality and protection obligations set out in this policy.

The Client or User has the right to exercise, at any time and free of charge, the rights recognized by law:
